BAYWOOD

These four houses on Baywood Ave are a modest infill development in Greenville’s Arcadia Hills neighborhood. The 0.38-acre site, once underutilized due to its irregular shape and challenging location, was strategically divided in collaboration with city planners. Designed as two-story townhomes, the houses maximize density while maintaining a single-family scale.
The “pinched and pulled” first level reduces spacing between homes, enhancing the urban feel while creating recessed porches, rear porches, and single-car garages. Each 1,800 SF home includes 3 bedrooms, 2.5 baths, and contemporary interiors with tile floors, spacious kitchens, and subtle curves—offering a refined take on cost-effective materials.
